Ace of Spades

Today, tragic news came in about the thirteen miners stuck down in the shaft. Only one has survived after reports came in that all but one had lived. After rejoice coming to the families’ and media’s faces, they were all let down to hear the terrible news this morning.

I ask for a moment of silence, perhaps prayer, or just to think for a while - what it would be like to be related to one of those people. If it had been your father, uncle, grandfather, or close friend down there.
